Woodford Green is a leafy suburb, part of the London Borough of Redbridge.

The Eton Heights development is located just off Woodford Green High Road (main A104) on Whitehall Road, sandwiched between Buckhurst Hill and Chingford, on the southerly edge of Epping Forest.

Epping Forest is Site of Special Scientific Interest with 6,000 acres of ancient forest. Perfect for walking, cycling, picnics and horse riding… perhaps you’ll even catch sight of one of the 500 deer that roam in the forest.





- William Morris spent his childhood at Woodford Hall 1840–8.

- Emily Pankhurst lived in Woodford for many years.

- Sir Winston Churchill represented Woodford in Parliament between 1924-64.

- Clement Attlee, post-war Prime Minister (1945-1951) had a residence in Monkhams Avenue, Woodford Green.

- Husband and wife Meera Syal and Sanjeeve Bhaskar currently reside in South Woodford - two of the UK's
best-known Indian personalities (The Kumars at No. 42).
